Steven Savile - 'Silver'

There's a nice page on FaceBook for Steven Savile's book 'Silver'.
Take a look here ... and join up to show your support...

:D

Not ALL fun and games, but...

Here's a little vid' I put together to a piece of Janacek (a slightly cut down version of the Andante from 'Sinfonietta') - just thought I'd try something a wee bit different.

Let me know what you think...

This cheerful disposition is brought to you today by a strong cup of coffee...

What did one saggy boob say to the other saggy boob?......... . We better get some support before people start thinking we're nuts!!!

Three nuns sitting on a park bench. A man in a trench coat comes by and flashes them. Two nuns had a stroke. One couldn't reach.

What do you call a chav in a freezer?....... Solid!

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Cabbage. Lettuce pray.
Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
Thy will be drunk, (I will be drunk),
At home as it is in the pub.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillage's,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer, The bitter, The lager.
BARMEN.

Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.

Two fish are in a tank. One says to the other, "I'll man the guns, you drive.

The great thing about snow is it makes your lawn look as good as your neighbours

Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

'Viagra' is now available in powder form for your tea. It doesn't enhance your sexual performance but it does stop your biscuit going soft.

Irony - It's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.

Into the Silence - Torchwood novel

I got me ehands on a copy of chapter one of Sarah Pinborough's new novel,
Into The Silence
, due for release in May '09, but don't ask how....

JOKE!!!

The kind people at Ebury Publishing offered an exclusive preview to the
members of Torchwood Forum - so I'd suggest you might like to pop along there
for a peek ... :D

The full May release consists of:

Into the Silence - Sarah Pinborough
The House That Jack Built - Guy Adams
Bay of the Dead - Mark Morris
(not that I'm trying to influence you .... much)

;)

Gordian - Torchwood Magazine, Issue 14

Mr Steven Savile's new literary addition to all that is Torchwood, Gordian, with Jack, Gwen and Ianto, was to be a three-parter for the Torchwood Magazine but, after some rearranging, it's now a two-parter... and slot three will be filled with a mystery story... oo-er, I hear you say.

Anyhoo.. issue 14 is out now in the UK in the new bi-monthly format - lots of nice pictures (come on! give me a chance to read it ;) ... )

There's also a comic strip by some bloke called John Barrowman and his sister Carole - no idea who they are: google might know.

Gotta love the Cybermen

I think the poor Cybermen miss out on a lot of attention...
...those dustbins-on-wheels nick far too much for themselves...

Oh, and watch out for the DRUNK one at 0:42-ish (far left)... :D
